to be frank..

kelsey kopecky with a side of joy. if you are a knock at the door, I'm the creaky footsteps followed by a high pitched bark on the other side. here's to hoping next time that annoying dog will remember you and not wreck another pair of light denim pants. wherever I am I can promise you one thing, it's full of rocks waiting to be collected and public salt shakers that feel overly used.

    Copeland/Paper Route/This Providence/Brooke Waggoner

For the month of April I am traveling in a big white van playing with artist Brooke Waggoner. Tonight was our 3rd show and we find ourselves staying the night in Baton Rouge Louisiana. We played in New Orleans this evening and I would have to say it was quite an experience. I enjoyed the open air cafes that offer so much more than hot beverages. The people watching was the best so far.. pirates/voodoo..ugh..people??/assorted intoxicated greek spring breakers. yes, new orleans was full of amazing balconies and tonight, a lot of fun music. which included a michael jackson tribute band at the venue beside ours. What a night.

Tomorrow is houston.. Never have been to texas. I hear everythings bigger there and I shouldn’t mess with it. hmm here goes nothing. lots of love. (PS: in one week I will be in my home town hugging my dear family in minneapolis!!)
